A Stumble at Anfield, But No Cause for Alarm.

Arsenal’s quest to a great start of the season ends in a familiar hurdle. The Arsenal tasted a 1-0 defeat in an Anfield epic, but hold your heads high, Gooners! We weren’t alone in the misery as the football gods also smote Man City and Spurs! A reminder that it’s a marathon, not a sprint, in this 2025/2026 campaign.

While a draw would have been a fair reflection of a brutal, tactical battle, a flash of genius from the hosts proved the difference. Considering the players missing from our lineup, the resilience shown at Anfield was a significant positive.

The spotlight will inevitably fall on our new Viking striker, who found chances scarce against a disciplined backline. Adapting to the Premier League’s unique demands is a process and it requires patience. Thierry Henry himself had a barren start before becoming a legend. The goals will come. Give Gyo a break!

Now, an international break. A chance to reset, reload, and pray that our boys return fit. On to the next one. #COYG 

Arsenal Singapore’s AGM
We will be holding our AGM on 13 September 2025 at BQ Bar, before the live screening of the match against Nottingham Forest at 7.30 pm. The event is open to the first 100 members. There will be a buffet, lucky draw of signed merchandise and Arsenal memorabilia.
