What a week it’s been! The boys in red and white have given us plenty to be proud of with two massive results.
Last Week’s Outcomes
Champions League: Atletico Club 0-2 Arsenal: A magnificent start to our European campaign! A dominant 2-0 away win against a strong Atletico side, sealed by our fantastic super-subs, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard. The Gunners controlled the game from start to finish, a truly impressive performance.
Premier League: Arsenal 1-1 Manchester City: My pre-match concern about the in-form Norwegian Haaland proved valid as the Norwegian struck early. We huffed and puffed, but Donnarumma was a wall in goal, until our Martinelli produced a moment of pure quality with a magnificent lob to secure a hard-fought point. The second-half onslaught was one of our best this season. We had the ex-champions defending like Stoke City! No goal for our Swedish superstar.
These results meant that we remained 2nd in the table, just five points behind Liverpool after Week 5. The fight continues! 2 more matches this coming week.
1. Port Vale vs. Arsenal (EFL Cup) – No live screening

Our EFL Cup journey begins away at League One’s Port Vale, who currently sit 19th with only two wins in nine. This is a prime opportunity for Mikel Arteta to rotate the squad and test the depth of our bench. The quality is undeniable, with players like Kepa, Norgaard, Mosquera, White, Lewis-Skelly, and Dowman likely to get valuable minutes.
2. Newcastle United vs. Arsenal (Premier League) – Live screening
Match Details:
Date: Sunday, 28th September 2025, Kick-off: 11.30 PM
We finish the week with another tough away game at St. James’ Park. It’s never an easy trip against the Toon Army, but this is precisely the type of match we must win to maintain our title charge. Mark your calendars and get down to Molly Malones to cheer on the lads!
