Our member Jeff Sun shares his visit to The Arsenal to watch the team take on Manchester City in September 2025.

I would like to express my gratitude to the Arsenal Singapore Club for giving me the opportunity to witness the exciting clash between our beloved Arsenal and Manchester City.

After last season’s 5-1 victory in the same fixture, expectations were high to win this game and secure 3 points in our chase against league leaders Liverpool. The first half was sluggish, but Noni Madueke electrified the stadium with his fearless runs and direct play. I was definitely disappointed to see him substituted at halftime. We kept pressing in the second half, but nothing clear-cut came until Eze’s brilliant over-the-top pass set up Martinelli’s lobbed goal. Although we fought back to grab a last-minute equalizer, the game honestly felt like it should have been ours to take. COYG”
