Greetings Gooners!
Premier League: Fighting Spirit at St James
What a weekend for Arsenal! The Gunners delivered a dramatic comeback victory at St. James’ Park, ending a difficult run of results away to Newcastle. In a match filled with controversy, the team showed incredible resilience to fight back from a goal down and secure a vital 2-1 win. The late-game drama was truly something special. Despite what many considered to be questionable refereeing decisions, including a highly debated VAR call that overturned a penalty for Arsenal, the team never gave up. Goals from set pieces by Mikel Merino and Gabriel Magalhaes proved to be the difference, showcasing the team’s strength and determination.
The victory moves Arsenal back into second place, just two points behind league leaders Liverpool. This hard-fought win sends a strong message and proves that this squad has the character and belief to compete for the title. With the season still in its early stages, every point is crucial. The team must continue to be at its best to maintain this winning momentum.
Carabao Cup: A Winning Start
The Gunners’ successful week began with a comfortable 2-0 win over Port Vale in the Carabao Cup. Eberechi Eze scored his first goal for the club, a moment he called “very special,” and Leandro Trossard added a second to seal the victory. The team will now face Brighton in the fourth round, a home tie at the Emirates Stadium.

The 2/8 match of the Champions League is a home game against the Greek giant. Arsenal are the overwhelming favorites, but Olympiacos’s strange hold over them at the Emirates is intriguing. Most predictions point towards a home victory for the Gunners and the return of Captain Martin Ødegaard will be a significant boost for the team. No live screening for the game.
Arsenal v West Ham – Live screening at Molly Malones
Match Details:
Date: Thursday, 4th October 2025, Kick-off: 10.00 PM
A London Derby clash! Arsenal is unbeaten in their last 15 Premier League home games. However, West Ham won the last encounter between the two teams, 1-0, in February 2025. With West Ham under new management, their tactical setup will be something to be wary of. While it’s Nuno’s first game, there is analysis suggesting he may set up with a three-man defense to make the team hard to break down. For Arsenal, a key focus will be on set-pieces, as defender Gabriel Magalhães has scored more Premier League goals against West Ham than any other side. What a week it’s been! The boys in red and white have given us plenty to be proud of with two massive results.
Come down to Molly Malones to cheer on the lads!
We will be posting photos of our members at the live screening every week via Instagram. The member will win Weston vouchers if the posting has the most likes. Vouchers will be given out during the mid-season and end of season.
