Top of the League
What a way to head into the interlull! The Gunners are sitting pretty at the summit of the Premier League after a gritty 2-0 victory over West Ham. The result was cemented by a first-half goal from our former Hammer, Declan Rice, and a second-half penalty from Bukayo Saka.

While the performance wasn’t always fluid, the strength of our squad was on full display. The bench provided ample coverage, ensuring our style of play never faded. The only cause for concern was our captain, Martin Ødegaard, being forced off with an injury after 30 minutes. We all wish him a speedy recovery.

The weekend got even better when Chelsea did us a massive favour by handing Liverpool another defeat, officially crowning us league leaders. And Arsenal remained as the Invincibles as Crystal Palace was beaten 2-1 by Everton.  

Champions League Momentum Builds
The good times continued at the Emirates in midweek, where we secured a convincing 2-0 win over Olympiacos. That makes it two wins from two in Europe, providing the perfect platform for the group stage ahead.

The boys now depart for international duty, but they’ll return in two weeks with a clear mission to defend our spot at the top.
