Our member Jacob Roy shares his visit to The Arsenal to watch the team take on Manchester City in September 2025.

What an unforgettable night at the Emirates! Huge thanks to Dhanesh, Joel, and the rest of Arsenal Singapore for securing the tickets, it was a privilege to be part of such a massive game. The atmosphere was absolutely electric, with chants echoing through the stands from the first whistle to the very last. Singing alongside thousands of Gooners, scarf held high, was something I’ll never forget.

The game itself was tense, every tackle and pass loaded with meaning. Both sides went toe-to-toe, creating a match that kept us all on edge. And just when it seemed like City would sneak away with the points, the moment arrived. Deep into stoppage time, Gabriel Martinelli stepped up with ice in his veins, chipping it beautifully over Donnarumma to snatch a last-minute equalizer. The stadium erupted, people were screaming, hugging strangers, limbs everywhere. It was pure, raw emotion.

Nights like this remind you why football is more than just a game, it’s about the passion, the unity, and the memories we create together. What a privilege to witness it live. COYG!
