Two home games coming up as the fixtures come thick and fast!
We resume our Champions League campaign midweek against Atlético Madrid — always a tricky opponent. Some say the Arsenal of today mirrors the Atlético of old: disciplined, compact, and clinical in front of goal. Could we see another set-piece masterclass? We’ll find out in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Then it’s back to Premier League action this weekend as we face Crystal Palace. It’ll be a stern test for our defence, especially against in-form striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, who’s fresh off a hat-trick last weekend.
Personally, I’d love nothing more than to see a couple of Viktor Gyökeres goals across these two games. He’s looking sharper with every touch and growing more confident in tight spaces — let’s hope he steps up and becomes the difference maker we all know he can be.
There’s no better place to cheer on the boys than BQ Bar this Sunday night!
