Our member Jon Liang shares his visit to The Arsenal to watch the team take on Bayern Munich in November 2025.

We arrived early at the Emirates to wait for the team bus, joining a growing crowd of excited fans hoping to catch a glimpse of the players before this massive European night. The atmosphere was buzzing even before the gates opened.

Inside the stadium, it was completely sold out—every seat filled, the noise building as kickoff approached.

Arsenal struck first with a beautiful header from Jurrien Timber, timing his leap perfectly to send the Emirates into an early eruption.

Bayern threatened at times, but Arsenal stayed composed. In the second half,

Noni Madueke scored his first goal for Arsenal, a sharp finish that lifted the energy even higher. After a few minutes,  Gabriel Martinelli sealed the win with a clean, confident strike, putting the match out of reach and igniting huge celebrations around the stadium.

The game was so intense and exciting that we almost forgot to take sufficient good photos—completely lost in the moment.

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
