Greeting Gooners! A good Monday it is…

Clash of the Titans: Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool
In a clash of the titans at the Emirates, the points were shared in a tense, tactical stalemate against the defending champions. The result kept us firmly at the top of the Premier League table, six points clear of Manchester City. Bukayo Saka and Martin Ødegaard were lively throughout, but a resolute Liverpool defense denied us the win. Despite the lack of goals, the clean sheet underscored our defensive solidity in what was a high-pressure encounter between the league’s top two sides.

On to the next FA Cup round: Portsmouth 1-4 Arsenal (FA Cup Third Round)
Arsenal secured a convincing 4-1 victory at Fratton Park for the FA Cup campaign. The headlines belonged to Gabriel Martinelli, who silenced recent critics with a stunning hat-trick. His first for the club. After an early scare that saw Portsmouth take a shock lead, the team responded with maturity. An own goal leveled the scores before Martinelli took over, showcasing his clinical finishing from both open play and set-pieces. It was also heartening for the academy, as 16-year-old Marli Salmon became our youngest-ever FA Cup participant, making his debut late in the second half.

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
