Greetings Gooners!
What a monumental week it has been for the Arsenal family. From the high-stakes tension of a London derby semi-final to a clinical display against the Black Cats, Mikel Arteta’s side is showing the grit and flair of the best club in London. The Arsenal’s faithful have plenty to celebrate as we reflect on two massive results at the Emirates and look ahead to a tricky trip across town.
Wembley Bound: Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea
The Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Chelsea was a night that tested every supporter’s nerves. Carrying a narrow lead from the first leg, the Gunners put on a defensive masterclass, frustrating the Blues for the better part of ninety minutes. Just as it looked like the game would end in a stalemate, the roof nearly blew off the Emirates. Deep into stoppage time, Kai Havertz struck a clinical blow against his former club, rounding the keeper to secure a 1-0 victory on the night. That late winner cemented a 4-2 aggregate triumph, officially punching our ticket to the final at Wembley on 23rd March 2026.
Clinical against the Black Cats: Arsenal 3-0 Sunderland
It was a professional performance through and through, as we returned to Premier League action, headlined by the ever-reliable Martin Zubimendi and a rampant Viktor Gyökeres. Zubimendi broke the deadlock with a trademark strike from distance that set the tone for the afternoon. While Sunderland tried to fight their way back into the contest, Gyökeres came off the bench to prove exactly why he is one of the most feared strikers in the league right now. His clinical second-half brace put the game beyond doubt, securing a 3-0 win that keeps us firmly at the summit of the table with a 6-point advantage.

We travel to the Gtech Community Stadium to face Brentford on Friday. The Bees are always a stubborn opponent on their own turf, and with the title race heating up, every point is precious. With the momentum of our Wembley qualification and our recent league form, the squad will be looking to maintain their clinical edge and silence the home crowd. It’s another “London derby” atmosphere under the lights, and we’ll need the same intensity we showed against Chelsea to come away with all three points.
Arsenal v Wigan (FA Cup) – No Live Screening

The cup action doesn’t stop with the Carabao, as we prepare to welcome Wigan Athletic to the Emirates for the FA Cup fourth round. This fixture naturally brings back memories of our famous 2014 semi-final encounter, and while Wigan currently finds themselves in League One, we know all too well that they carry a “giant-killer” reputation in this competition. After our commanding 4-1 win over Portsmouth in the previous round, Arteta will likely look to balance the squad, but the goal remains the same, a deep run in the world’s oldest knockout tournament, as we hunt for a place in the fifth round.
