Our member Gerald Loh shares his visit to The Arsenal to watch the team take on Aston Villa in December 2025.

I recently had the chance to attend an Arsenal match against Aston Villa, and it was an experience unlike any other. The atmosphere at the stadium was amazing, with fans cheering and singing throughout the game. Notably, when ‘North London Forever’ was being sung, I felt a deep sense of connection with the fans and the club. Not to mention, goosebumps!

Arsenal played really well and won the match 4–1, which made the day even better. Seeing the goals scored live and celebrating with the crowd was exciting and unforgettable. Seeing Emi Martinez going ballistic ended off the night perfectly.

Overall, I really thoroughly enjoyed the match and I’m eternally grateful for the opportunity given by Dhanesh and Arsenal Singapore. 

Hopefully, we will be celebrating again at the end of the season.
