News that Rice was missing out and having just lost to Villa earlier that month, confidence was pretty low around the stadium pre-match.

Despite the emphatic scoreline, the game was much closer in the first half with Watkins and Rogers threatening on multiple occasions.

Thankfully, some last-ditch tackles and poor finishing saved us from going down at halftime. 

After the break, suddenly we’re a different animal.

Set piece FC strikes again; Odegaard and Zubimendi brilliant at midfield; Trossard continued his red hot form.
