Good afternoon!

Wembley Catastrophe: Arsenal 0-2 Man City
Firstly, a massive thank you to those who packed out Molly Malone’s and BQ Bar on Sunday night! The atmosphere in Boat Quay was electric. However, the result didn’t go our way. Arsenal’s pursuit of a League Cup continues after a tough 0-2 defeat to Man City at Wembley on Monday.

Despite a dominant opening 20 minutes where James Trafford pulled off a miraculous triple save to deny Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka, the breakthrough wouldn’t come. City’s Nico O’Reilly eventually broke the deadlock in the 60th minute, adding a second just four minutes later to seal the result.

But heads up, Gooners! While it hurts, the season is far from over. We remain in a commanding position to capture the silverware we crave most. We sit 1st in the table with 70 points, holding a 9-point lead over Man City (who have a game in hand). Our FA Cup and Champions League campaign are in full swing. Mikel Arteta said it best post-match, “We use this pain as fuel.” With only two months left in the season, the focus shifts entirely to the League and Europe.

It’s the interlull now till the next match in April.

Southampton v Arsenal (FA Cup Quarter Finals) – No Live Screening
Date: Sunday, 5th April 2026, Kick-off: 3:00 AM
No live screening

No more dwelling on the EFL Cup because the Emirates FA Cup, a trophy that practically lives in our cabinet, is calling. We’ve been handed an away trip to the South Coast to face Southampton in the Quarter Finals. After dispatching Mansfield Town in the last round, the boss is expected to go strong as we hunt for a record-extending 15th FA Cup title. It’s a late one for us in Singapore, but there’s no better way to spend a Sunday morning, watching the Gunners secure a spot in the Semi-Finals.

That’s all from me for now.
