Hello Fellow Singapore Gooners,

Now that we have secured another season in Europe and the magical 6th spot in EPL, our Prez has decided his job is done and is taking a quick vacay. Can you believe it? LOL
I have been “tasked” to say a few words.. Hah! #WengerIn

Well the moment came and went by last Sunday. The man who’s Mr Arsenal through-and-through for decades, won almost every trophy available, who knows every player that has come through the ranks and who has a favourite place in the hearts of all players bade an emotional goodbye to the Arsenal faithful at the Emirates. Yes, Mr Vic Akers, has spent over 30 years dedicated to The Arsenal! Who doesn’t recognize Mr Shorts, especially in the fiercely cold climates in Milan and Ludogrets away games? He will sorely be missed by Gooners worldwide. #AkersOut

Hello Fellow Singapore Gooners,

The results didn’t go our way for the past 2 games unfortunately, but all to play for still in the Europa League and the performances of our young players at Old Trafford bode well for us if they continue to develop. Maitland-Niles was selected as Man Of The Match in spite of being on the losing team. Mavropanos also looked very impressive.

On Friday morning, 4th May at 305am, we play Atletico away in the second leg of the Europa League Semi-Final and this is it, do or die, 2 wins from a trophy and get back into the Champions League next season. Five Square WILL BE OPEN for this match, same terms as last week, $15 cover charge which includes 1 drink, and this is from midnight onwards. Come on Singapore Gooners, support them and The Gunners and show up!!

Hello Fellow Singapore Gooners,

It finally happened, what ALL Gooners have been waiting for has come to pass …… yes, sp*rs ended the season without winning anything again. More than 10 years since their last trophy, a League Cup, and no League title since 1961, when most of you haven’t even been born yet. #NLIR #FOYS

Ok I kid, yup, what has finally happened is that Arsene has announced he will leave at the end of the season. A few of you cheered at that but I suspect the majority will feel some sense of sadness that he is leaving after 22 years. His achievements at and service to The Arsenal are irrefutable and we should be grateful for that and show respect to the man who built The Emirates, and London Colney and gave us the Invincibles, 3 PL titles (2 of them doubles), and 7 FA cups.

We beat West Ham 4-1 at home last Sunday and we have a very important match against Atletico Madrid on Friday morning at 305am, Five Square has a poll on their FB page to suss out the level of interest in attending, please go and vote https://www.facebook.com/fivesquarebar/. Five Square will be open definitely for our away game against Man United on Sunday, kick off at 1130pm. Doors open from 8pm, come early and watch West Ham v Citeh before that, signups and renewals from 9pm to 11pm.
