Arsenal Singapore Newsletter, 5 June 2022

Hello Gooners!
It’s been a while since my last newsletter.. not that I was doing some soul searching on why Arsenal was in the fifth position. I was simply busy and I apologise for the short hiatus.

I’m not trying to resurrect the sentiments about Arsenal, given that the league had ended about 2 weeks ago. It’s just that I want to share my view about how the team has done well to secure 5th position. With the manner we started the 2021/2022 season, the topsy turvy performances, the players’ issues, the thin squad, etc, Arsenal did ok and eventually qualify for the Europa League for this coming season.
While there’s no Champions League this time, in some aspects, there’s an improvement and there’s certainly progress. Perhaps, it’s a step-by-step process for Arsenal to be a major contender in time to come.

Never stop loving Arsenal!! We will get there!

Arsenal Singapore Newsletter, 15 May 2022

Hei Gooners!
Arsenal Sg wishes all our Buddhist members a Happy Vesak Day and to the others, a happy holiday. May we all have peace and tranquillity in our lives. We need this because of the current situation with Arsenal. The team is on the verge of qualifying for next season’s Champions League.
Whilst the wins against West Ham and Leeds proved to be of utmost importance to challenge for the 4th spot, the loss against Spurs last Friday essentially makes the challenge very complex.

It was supposedly a defining moment for Arsenal at the Spurs Stadium but the team faltered after just 22 minutes into the game. We all know what happened. Well…
It’s now an arduous fight till the end, for the next two games, to determine if Arsenal qualifies for the Champions League or the Europa.

Two very big games are coming up, an away match against Newcastle on 17 May 2022 at 3 am and a home game against Everton on 22 May 2022 at 11 pm. Will we be celebrating St Totteringham Day on the final match of the season?

It’s gonna be a big season finale this season for us Gooners. It’s like watching the end of Money Heist!
We have just received the signed prints from Parlour. We will make arrangements for the prize winners to receive their prizes in due course.
Membership renewal for next season has started. It is $30. Use the link: for the renewal.
Have a wonderful long weekend Gooners!!

Arsenal Singapore Newsletter, 26 April 2022

Hey Gooners!
That’s 2 unexpected wins from the Gunners against Chelsea and Man United! The players deserve our applause for their big performances. Astonishingly, Spurs was held to a draw by Brentford and with last week’s results, Arsenal lies in fourth position, with a 2-point advantage. It is still a massive competition for 3rd and 4th placing with 5 games to play. Chelsea plays Man United tomorrow. Which team do you prefer to win, or is a draw sufficient?
This Sunday, 1 May 2022, Arsenal travels to London Stadium to play against West Ham while Spurs hosts Leicester City. Spurs plays at 9 am and it’s another advantage for Arsenal, as the game against the Hammers is scheduled at 11.30 pm. Hopefully, Arsenal capitalise on this.
West Ham plays a Europa semi-final on Friday. Hopefully, their desire for the final would have some negative impact on the Premier League match against Arsenal. Yet, another advantage for the Arsenal!
It seems that the circumstances are favourable for the Arsenal this Sunday. Can we take it positively and win the London derby? COYG!! Submit your score prediction before the game.
We are still waiting for the signed prints from Parlour. He asked for another week or so. Once we have received, the details for the prize winners will be shared.
Membership renewals for next season have started. It is $30. Use the link: for the renewal.
Have a wonderful long weekend Gooners!! And Salam Aidilfitri in advance to the Muslim members!
