Dear Singapore Gooners,
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!
It’s still good to be on top, ain’t it? What a nervy, unusual performance though from the Gunners last Saturday against the Geordies… Hangover much? The Gunners got us off in the right fashion for probably the first 20 mins. Had it not been for Man-of-the-Match Cech, it would have truly been Cech-mate for us! He’s proving to be a real bargain so far.. Thank you, Mr Abramovich! You can still shove your Russian roubles up your a**! Pardon my French.
It sure was nerve-wracking watching the team grind out that result and I truly hope it won’t happen again. Wasn’t everyone relieved when Kos The Boss netted the winner?? One Nil To The Arsenal! #boringboringArsenal
Volunteers
As you are probably aware, Arsenal Singapore will continue our commitment to the Children’s Aid Society which manages the Melrose Home in Clementi. We have a few members who volunteer their time once a month, typically on a Sunday, for 90 mins for a light cardio workout and footy kickabouts. They spend time with kids, aged 8-12 years old, who need a supportive environment to grow up to be responsible adults and upright citizens. We would like to grow our pool of volunteers (male and female) so that we can rotate them as not all volunteers are required on a monthly basis. Those who are keen to volunteer, please drop a note to Shai at shai@arsenalsingapore.com and he will fill you in with more details.

Will he “walk like an Egyptian”? ok ok, don’t kill me now.. LOL
