The theme this week is all about sharing. Sharing the love for The Arsenal amongst yourselves. We had our first win of the season against Watford recently with a convincing performance. Most of our lads will be back this weekend, including our newest signings Mustafi and Perez. You can bet Molly will be singing their new songs for sure. Third sharing, the Arsenal Legends rolled back the years and rolling good times when they beat Milan Glorie 4-2 over the weekend. Wasn’t it a magical 90 mins of footy action watching your past heroes in action? 1. Arsenal 5K Run
Fourth sharing, we raised a total of S$3,150 from members by end Aug 2016. The club did a top-up and we donated a total of £3,000 (or approx S$5,600) to The Arsenal Foundation. And we were informed yesterday that Arsenal SG raised the highest amount of funds amongst all supporters club this year. For our efforts, the club will receive a signed Arsenal jersey. Kudos to all runners, donors and buyers of the special commemorative cap!

4. Lucky Draw contest
We will be conducting the our 1st lucky draw for the August entries this coming Saturday at half-time during the Southampton game. We have received many receipts so fingers crossed your name gets picked. 1st winner will win $100 and the 2nd winner will win $50 in Molly Roffey’s dining vouchers.
We will continue this contest in September so hold on to your receipts for the next lucky draw in October too.
And finally the interlull is over. We are back in action against Southampton this Saturday. Our boys will be eager to build on their first win and it will be interesting to see which First XI plays now that we have a bit more options. Are you excited to see Xhaka, Perez, Mustafi, Cazorla, Coq, Elneny, Giroud, Alexis and Ozil finally on the same pitch? I just hope they can share the goals amongst themselves… hah!
