Our member Samuel Wittberger shares his visit to The Arsenal to watch the team take on Bayer Leverkeusen in March 2026.

The last time I was in the Emirates was for the Jan 2025 FA Cup match where we lost to Man Utd. It felt noticeably different on my return for the UCL R16 match against Leverkeusen this year. The stadium was pumped for the match, and there was an air of confidence amongst the fans. Whilst for previous matches I’d always been somewhere towards the top of the stadium, this time I was right in the thick of it in row 10. The stands were shaking from the loud roars and jumping as we wildly celebrated a 2-0 win, with Eze’s sensational strike blowing our minds and the roof off the stadium. 

What a magical night – huge thanks to Arsenal Singapore for letting me live my dream of watching a UCL knockouts match at the Emirates. COYG!!
