Our member Kel shares his visit to The Arsenal to watch the team take on Everton and Bayer Leverkeusen in March 2026.
Returning to the Emirates after more than a decade felt like coming home. My last visit was in 2012, the heartbreak of Arteta missing a last-minute penalty against Fulham still lingers. Seeing him now as the manager, leading the team, made that memory feel full circle.
Hearing North London Forever around the stadium and the Champions League anthem before kick-off was something truly special. It set the tone for nights that felt bigger than just football, a reminder of why this club means so much.
From the Clock End against Everton, two late goals sent waves of euphoria through the stadium, and witnessing Max Dowman make history was a true “I was there” moment. Later, behind the Ashburton Army for the Bayer Leverkusen game, the energy, passion, and unity of the fans were palpable. Singing chants late into the night, the excitement spilling over into the following days, I felt the pride, the joy, and the sheer love for this club, proud to be a Gooner.
A huge thank you to Arsenal Singapore for making this incredible experience possible, truly a dream come true.
Keep the faith, Gooners, we are going to win the league. COYG!
