Greetings Singapore Gooners!
The new 2026/27 season is right around the corner, and the excitement is reaching a fever pitch!
The Gunners fell short at the Emirates Stadium as Borussia Dortmund lifted the Emirates Cup trophy after winning 2-3. The outcome ended our run of consecutive Emirates Cup titles. Despite fighting back in the second half through a fine goal from teenage sensation Ethan Nwaneri and a penalty from Viktor Gyökeres, a slow first half proved too costly. While our recent pre-season results might have caused some anxious chatter, do keep calm and trust the process. Pre-season is about building match fitness, experimenting with tactical setups, and integrating exciting new faces into the squad.
The biggest highlight? The home crowd finally got to welcome our blockbuster midfield signing, Bruno Guimarães! He’s already bringing immense energy to London Colney. Additionally, our major first-team heavyweights are officially reporting back to training this week, meaning we are about to see the real Arsenal click into gear very soon.
Next Friendly: Como 1907
Date: Thursday, 13 August 2026
Time: 2.30 AM
No live screening (watch via Arsenal’s Official YouTube Channel)
We welcome an Italian side led by none other than Arsenal icon Cesc Fàbregas! Cesc has done a phenomenal job managing Como, guiding them to a stunning fourth-place finish in Serie A last season and securing a historic Champions League berth.
Expect Arteta to severely ramp up the intensity in this match. Returning internationals like Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, David Raya, Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke, Martin Zubimendi, and Mikel Merino are all due to get much-needed competitive minutes alongside captain Martin Ødegaard. It will be our first real look at the core structure of our team for the upcoming campaign.
To those who are in Hong Kong, please join Lance for a watch party at Cosmo Pub, together with the Arsenal HK Supporters members.

Very Important: Membership renewal
New sign-ups and renewals for the 2026/2027 season are officially open! If you held a membership last season, please note that it will completely expire on 31 August 2026.
Arsenal Football Club (AFC) has instituted strict new ticketing policies for all official international supporters clubs this season. Please read the following rules very carefully if you plan to see the Gunners live:
- We are now strictly required to submit our complete, finalized members’ list directly to AFC.
- If we submit a match ticket application for you, AFC will cross-reference it with this database. If your name is not on the official list, you will not be issued a match ticket, even if the application is otherwise successful.
- AFC has completely eliminated the ability to transfer match tickets. The ticket is tied solely to the registered member.
- Our absolute deadline to submit the first round of members to AFC is Thursday, 13 August 2026.
- You have exactly 2 days left to renew your membership. If you miss this initial window, you might be eligible for submission during AFC’s next data window. However, AFC has not announced when or if that next window will open.
- If you, your family, or your friends have even the slightest intention of flying down to London to catch a game at the Emirates this season, they must be registered as new members right now.
- All general membership registrations for the 2026/2027 season will officially close at the end of September 2026.
